Requirements
Admission to the Public Art Studies program requires the completion of two applications: the USC Application for Graduate Admission and the Public Art Studies Supplemental Application. GRE scores are only required for admission to the dual degree programs. Incoming graduate students seeking consideration for MPAS fellowships, scholarships and awards must submit a scholarship application form along with their supplemental application. (Please contact the MPAS Program for more information at 213-743-8540 or pasprog@usc.edu.)

Interviews
Interviews are required in person, by video conference or phone.  Prospective students should contact the Master of Public Art Studies program before applying.

Deadlines
The Master of Public Art Studies program only accepts applications for Fall admission. The PAS program has extended its application deadline for the 2008-2009 academic year to June 2, 2008, to seek students from a range of academic, disciplinary, and professional backgrounds  

Dual Degree Requirements
Applicants for the MPAS/MPL (Master of Public Art Studies/Master of Planning) must also apply to the School of Policy, Planning and Development. Dual Degree candidates are required to submit GRE test scores. Applicants should contact both the Public Art Studies Program and the School of Policy, Planning and Development for information and admission requirements. Please note: the School of Policy, Planning and Development has a January 15 application deadline. Applicants for the MPAS/MA (Master of Public Art Studies/Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service) must also apply to Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. GRE scores are required. Applicants should contact both the Public Art Studies program and the Jewish Communal Service Program at HUC-JIR. Scholarship Information
The Public Art Studies Program offers several competitive scholarship and fellowship awards. All incoming and continuing students who wish to apply for scholarships need to submit a complete scholarship application.

International Students
Because of lengthier processing, we recommend that international students submit their applications by November 1, 2007 for Fall 2008. International applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and have their scores submitted by ETS. They must also complete the Financial Statement of Personal or Family Support along with Bank Verification documents. Information for international students.
