Undergraduate Programs -

All applicants are encouraged to come in for a personal portfolio review with a Roski School admissions counselor. This is the best way to learn about the art programs and the unique opportunities at USC, tour the art studios and feel what it is like to be a student here. Individual portfolio reviews are scheduled Monday-Thursday between 9-11am or 2-4 pm.  Please contact Penelope Jones at penelope@usc.edu for an appointment. Portfolio reviews can also be scheduled as part of a "Meet USC" program (see below).

Special Portfolio Forums for prospective freshmen (high school seniors) living in Southern California will be held on two Sundays in November. An admission representative and studio faculty members will be on hand to offer guidance for portfolio submissions. Students should bring three easily portable pieces of 2-D artwork to be critiqued.  We will be unable to critique time-based or interactive digital work at this time.  Due to space constrictions, these events are limited to student applicants only; no family, friends or teachers.  Reservations for either day can be made by contacting the Roski School at 213.740.ARTS (2787) or finearts@usc.edu.

USC Campus Programs:
In order to experience life on the USC campus, we recommend that all applicants attend a "Meet USC" program held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with morning and afternoon sessions. This program includes a general admissions presentation, a student-led walking tour and, if desired, a private meeting and portfolio review with a representative from the student's intended major area of study.

"Discover USC," a special program for all prospective freshmen and their families, will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 10:00am to 4:30pm. The main agenda for the day is on the USC website, but the Roski School will be featuring the following:
10-11:15am - an information session and tour of the art facilities
1:30-2:45pm - a presentation by  faculty members in the Design program

** We will be unable to review individual portfolios at this program.

For those unable to travel to Los Angeles, USC will hold general information receptions for prospective freshmen in various metropolitan areas across the United States, including one in Hong Kong, during the month of October. Unfortuately, there will be no Roski representative at these events.

For more information and to make a reservation for any of these USC programs please visit http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/visit.
